Snow
So I finally got back to NYC on Wednesday night and reported to work on Thursday morning...after being so tired from travelling and being delayed at the airport. Well, I get in...they make us wait 1/2 hour before bringing us up to HR and then I'm told that I'm going to Austin on Sunday...nice notice huh? Oh well...so I'm sitting here now on Sunday with a big blizzard that had happened yesterday and calling the Airlines and waiting over an hour on the phone...ok...so my friend called for me...to find out that the flight is cancelled. I get a hold of my manager on the job and he tells me he wants to fly on a later flight than the one that I've rescheduled myself on so then...now I'm waiting for him to call me back to let me know what flight I should reschedule myself on. 2 days of flights have been cancelled! Can you believe that? Oh well...I've been in NYC a total of what? 6 days since I moved in January...not even enough time for me to find an apartment yet...so I'm still homeless...oh well, I'll look when I get back from Austin in February.
So funny....I thought I posted this on the 23 but just realized that it was draft. Stupid me.

So ... where's all your stuff now, then? And how's Dim Sum taking your jetsetting?
I don't really know how she's taking it...I'm sure she's sad for not seeing me so much but after this Friday she should be much better since I'll actually be in manhattan and able to try to settle in finally. She's supposedly really sad the first few days that I'm gone and then adjusts after.
