Shopaholic
Last night, I was on the phone with a friend and he possed the question, "Are you a shopaholic?" Now that's very interesting. What constitutes a shopaholic? So we decided to go through a series of questions, "well, do you have more than one purse?"...yes. "Do you buy another one just cause it's something you want?...yes. "How many pairs of shoes do you have?"...over 25. "Do you have outfits in your closet that still have the tags on it?...yes but doesn't everyone?
Seriously, just cause you buy stuff that's on sale cause you know you will eventually wear it, shouldn't make you a shopaholic. You're just being a smart shopper so that you don't have to pay full price later on...even though sometimes you do still pay full price. Wouldn't the above questions just be a description of a female in general and some males too?
Do I buy something everyday?...NO. Do I always want to go to the mall?...NO. Would I rather shop than eat, sleep, drink?...HELL NO.
Therefore, I conclude that I'm not a shopaholic.

I go shopping regularily and if I see something I like that happens to be on sale I buy it. I end up buying more clothes but hey, they're on sale and they're cheap. I believe this way I'll never have to go to the mall just to get something I need and then having to pay full price for it.. and end up spending the same amount.
Most people who seem borderline shopaholic, and deny that they are, usually are. Just my experience. I'm not saying you ALL are, or that you DEFINITELY are, just saying.
I can't afford to go shopping. I spend all my money on drugs. Better return on investment I think. - TUNA
tuna, you have problems. it looks like you only have one thing on your mind and eventually it'll haunt you when you're older ... when you're on drugs you experience life in a different state of mind, a mind not real, not normal ... try to focus more on productive things, such as nailing as many girls you can before you're too old to get it up(even with viagra) ... good luck, and remember when you're hiding the frank, please think of me. -weeber
I define a shopaholic as someone who shops more than anything and calls shopping a "hobby". In contrast, I like to call myself a bargain hunter (out of necessity cuz I'm poor, but also cuz it's more satisfying to hunt something down cheap). Latest finds Levis denim jacket, quilted inside with furry collar and cuffs - $12.99, denim shorts $7, very stylish cream coloured leather jacket (gift for Si) $149. But I shop very rarely
I'm a little confused.
When you play hide the salami or hide the frank, what cuts of meat do you use? And if you are constantly looking to buy the best quality meat you can get, are you considered a shopaholic in that fashion?
I find that there's a joy in obtaining material goods, but there's a way greater joy when you can get it at a good deal (ie. well under retail). That's my driving force in purchases now.
Unless I just have to have it.
hi ben, searching for the best qualities of meat, is unimportant .. as long as it's long, thick and lasts a long time without softening then you're good to go .. good luck - weeber
I have the same pair of shoes I've had since I was 18. That is 7 years old! They are the ones with velcro straps.
