Reality TV Shows
I watched For Love or Money last night. It was the last episode of the season. Sitting there thinking that the girl is such a Gold-digger. They make you think the total opposite of the person on the show. Anyways, how long do these people need to be on the show? 6 weeks or more away from home? How do people get that time off of work? But seriously, how do you fall in love in 6 weeks? And in that 6 weeks, would you really choose love over money ($1M)? I don't think I would...I would take the money...but then again...who knows cause I'm not in that situation. But back to the Reality TV Shows...would you ever want to go on one? Wouldn't it be fun? Do we really think that these people aren't acting...they might not be professional actors but I'm sure they are trying to get noticed. I know if I was on the shows I would not be myself cause I'd feel like it was more a game than anything. Too bad Canadians can't be on these shows!

Hustler created a reality show, it was called "So You Wanna be a Porn Star". They would eliminate contestants each week just like any other reality show. It was great.
Oooh ... "So You Wanna Be a Porn Star?" I'd watch THAT reality show.
Don't forget that there are extensive interview processes for getting into a show like that. They hand pick all the silly people that go into the "reality" show. And I'm sure they cater their selections towards very emotionally driven characters, people who like attention, are very outspoken, don't give a sh!t what others think, and extremely stubborn in their ways. And on top of that, they need to pick X number of people who will clash with each other. Then add a few in-your-face camera crews to capture all the "let's see what happens".
In any case, it's possible to fall in love in well under 6 weeks. Try under 6 DAYS. Yeah, it's possible, alright.
we can't go on them really? i know a guy who lined up 3 hrs around moscone center to get on fear factor. but they were mainly looking for hot crazy chicks cuz they already had enough guys who wanted to go on.
HG and I were at the Great Mall earlier this year, and it was fairly early on a Saturday morning. There was an unusually large proportion of tall, skinny women, all dressed up -- that struck us as strange. But as we rounded the corner, we saw that they were doing initial screenings of "America's Next Top Model" hopefuls. And a line of dolled-up girls going down the hall, around the corner, down the hall some more ... possibly 500 or more of them. And in my opinion, not a single one should have made it -- some shouldn't even have bothered to wake up early that morning. (Not saying right or wrong, but just an opinion.)
That, For Love or Money chick is hot!
